A shopping mall in Tyumen wanted to drive foot traffic during the New Year season. The idea: an advent calendar app where every day from December 20 to 31, visitors get a push notification with a new gift — a discount, a freebie, a special offer from one of the mall's tenants. I built the mobile app and the admin panel.

How it works
Visitors download the app, register with their name and phone, and get access to the calendar. Each day a new "gift box" unlocks. You tap it — and see today's offer: "Coffee Box — free cappuccino 350ml" or "L'Etoile — 30% off 7 fragrances." To redeem, you hit "Use" and show the screen at the store.

The admin panel is where the mall marketing team manages everything. They create gift cards with dates, upload coupon images, activate or deactivate offers. Each gift is tied to a specific date and tenant. The panel also shows user stats and activation counts — so they know exactly how many people redeemed each offer.

Built with React Native for the app and a Node.js backend. Push notifications went out every morning. The mall got their traffic spike, the tenants got new customers, and visitors got free cappuccinos. Everyone was happy.
