You know the problem: a group dinner ends, one check arrives, and everyone starts the awkward math. "I only had a salad!" — meanwhile someone ordered lobster. I built SplitCheck to kill that moment forever.

The idea is simple. One person scans or enters the receipt. Then everyone opens the link on their phone and taps what they actually ate. Whatever nobody claims — bread basket, shared appetizers — gets split equally among all participants. Each person sees exactly what they owe.

The service shows a full breakdown: your personal items, your share of the unclaimed stuff, tips. You can set up payment collection via card or e-wallet. No more "I'll pay you back later" — everything is transparent and calculated to the last ruble.

This was an MVP, mobile-first web app. Built with React and Node.js. The bear mascot was a nice touch — made the whole money-splitting thing feel less painful. Tested it extensively on real dinners with friends. Worked every time, friendships survived.
